About the Job*
We currently have an experienced-level position open for a Frontend Developer with a desire to learn and strong attention to detail that can help augment our existing team of highly qualified coders. The ideal candidate would be well-rounded with a variety of experience in hand coding HTML and CSS to match designs. This is NOT a Designer, JS developer nor a full-stack position. This is a full-time hybrid position between working in the Westlake Village office.

Responsibilities*

• Able to code webpages from wireframes/designs using hand coded HTML 5 and CSS.
• Works closely with designers and developers to solve problems related to user interfaces and user experience.
• Browser compatibility is a must across all major browsers and mobile devices.
• Responsible for building reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Responsible for optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Working within older code as well as newer.

Qualification Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience with web coding for web development.
• Expert at web markup (HTML & CSS). We need a frontend developer who can code WITHOUT a premade theme such as CMS or site/template such as Bootstrap.
• A link to your online Portfolio showing HAND CODED samples of your pertinent work examples is REQUIRED.
• Must be able to create responsive as well as adaptive websites. Must be able to make webpages mobile friendly and pass all google mobile tests.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Familiar w/ frameworks.
• Familiar working in a GIT environment.
• Familiar w/ PHP syntax

Experience in the following is a plus, but not required

• Understanding of vanilla JavaScript.
• Familiar w/ PHP Smarty.
